Bathrooms are always a challenge, especially in a New York apartment because they must be intimate and personal while completely functional and water tight.

In the following examples, we favored more standard ceramic tile or stone accented with specialty tiles, stone trims and, in one case, stone fossils. We try always to use the best quality fixtures, hardware and shower doors, and we often make our own medicine cabinets and vanities.
